Married at First Sight UK fans were left shell shocked after Matt accused his wife Gemma of ‘touching herself’ at a restaurant before he stormed out during their honeymoon.
On Wednesday’s episode, the 32-year-old barber revealed that Gemma’s aggressive sexual advances and crude jokes were bothering him and the real reason why he stormed out of the restaurant during their honeymoon was because she was making him uncomfortable.
During the couples first commitment ceremony with the experts, Matt did not waste any time explaining his frustrations.
Gemma was the one who brought up her husband storming off but the barber shocked viewers by claiming that he only stormed out because his wife was ‘touching herself’ and being inappropriate at a restaurant.
Gemma insisted that these ‘jokes’ are just her sense of humour and her way of trying to connect with Matt. She added that she “doesn’t know how to flirt” and uses sexual innuendos and advances as a way to “beg for affection”.
