Phillip Schofield Dumped By ‘We Buy Any Car’ After Queue Controversy

Phillip Schofield has been dumped by ‘We Buy Any Car’ after the queue jumping controversy.

The This Morning presenter experienced a gobsmacking amount of backlash after it emerged that he and his co-host Holly Willoughby didn’t have to queue to see the Queen’s coffin like everyone else.

Now, weeks after the controversy, Schofield has been dealt a new blow after it has been revealed We Buy Any Car have decided to part ways with him.

A source told The Sun:

“The We Buy Any Car ads are among the most regularly shown on telly — everyone knows them and the little tune that goes with it.

“It’s a massive deal, worth seven figures, but next week they’re shooting a new campaign and Phil’s not involved in it.

“There’s clearly a feeling within the company that he’s just not the right fit for the future and his contract will be allowed to expire. It has been a very successful partnership but it’s time for a change.”

The car company plans to shoot new ads without Schofield, and he has been removed from their website.
