Sahar Tabar is famous for her ‘zombie’ Angelina Jolie lookalike appearance but as it turns out, she looks nothing like that after showing her true face for the first time.
Despite previously claiming that she had undergone surgery to achieve her skeletal appearance, Tabar admitted that her photos were edited and not her true face.
Tabar was arrested in October 2019 for ‘corruption’ and ‘blasphemy’ and was released after 14 month served, following the public’s unease at her 10-year-sentence, Masih Alinejad reported.
Tabar reveals her true face below during an interview with Ronka:
The government-run publication did not translate her message but did quote her saying:
“What you saw on Instagram was the computer effects I used to create the image.”
She seemed to say that she had been longing to be famous since being ‘a child’.
The Daily Mail also reported her saying “Cyberspace was an easy way. It was much easier than becoming an actor,”
