Married at First Sight UK’s Sophie Brown has finally spoken out after her ex Jonathan Wileman’s rumoured relationship with a fellow co-star.
The 26-year-old tied the knot with Jonathan during filming but by the end of the season, they had decided to split.
It has been rumoured that Jonathan is getting to know fellow co-star Amy Christophers from season 6.
They have been spotted hanging out together with this season’s Matt Murray and his new girlfriend, Marilyse Corrigan.
Sophie shared her feelings on the new relationship by reposting an article about his new relationship to her Insta stories along with the shrugging emoji…so she seems pretty unphased.
Sophie and Jonathan had a bit of an up-and-down relationship, with a particular dig at Sophie’s weight coming to mind…
During one episode, the bride’s were discussing who their ideal man would be on the show.
Sophie said:
‘[Jonathan’s] comments about what to do in the gym or that you wouldn’t date a fat person you know what if I got big?
‘I said to him you know if I love you then that’s it. That’s it, that’s what I see.
‘But he’s just very brutally honest.’
This follows Jonathan admitting to the other grooms that he had no desire to ‘rip’ sophie’s clothes off – despite sleeping with her on their honeymoon.
He admitted:
‘Sometimes you meet someone and you want to just rip their clothes off.
‘That intensity, that…it’s just a feeling you have between each other. Not necessarily just you, but it’s reciprocated and it’s there.’
Kwame shocked, said:
‘Hold on a minute, you’re saying you don’t want to rip Sophie’s clothes off?’
To which the joiner replied: ‘Well…yeah.’
