Carl Fogarty, the motorcycling legend, has shown support for his daughter Claudia as she makes her TV debut on Love Island.
Sharing a picture of the two of them, Fogarty wished his daughter luck for her appearance on the popular dating show.
However, not everyone was so supportive of Claudia’s venture, with some of Carl’s fans criticising the show as “trashy” and questioning why the legend would be happy about his daughter appearing on it.
Claudia already lived a glamorous life before joining the Love Island cast, with a successful fashion business and over 20,000 followers on Instagram. Together with her sister Danielle, Claudia co-founded two fashion brands, Storm Fashion and Sister Stories, which sell high-end and premium women’s clothing. Claudia is no stranger to modeling, regularly showcasing her merchandise on her Instagram account, which also features a range of bikini photos from her travels.
Before her reality TV debut, it was reported that Claudia had promised her father that she would not engage in any “raunchy” behavior on the show. A source close to the family revealed to The Sun that Claudia values her family highly and wants to meet the man of her dreams and settle down, but she wants to make sure she doesn’t do anything that would cause her father any embarrassment.
Claudia will follow in the footsteps of her father, who became a reality star after winning the 2014 season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!. By joining the cast of Love Island, Claudia will be taking a step into the reality TV world, just like her father did before her.
