Molly-Mae Hague, an influencer and Love Island star, has an incredible reaction to her boyfriend, Tommy Fury, winning his fight against Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia.
Despite not watching the fight, Molly-Mae assured her 7.3 million Instagram followers that she had never doubted her boyfriend’s abilities.
She wrote, “The pressure that was on this boy’s shoulders… I will never ever know how he dealt with it. Never been more proud of anyone in my life. GET HOME TO US OUR CHAMP.”
Molly-Mae stayed back in the UK with their newborn daughter, Bambi, while Tommy fought in the highly-anticipated professional match.
Although she was joined by her sister Zoe and friends Maura Higgins, Ellen Graham, and Stephanie Lam for a watching party, Molly-Mae couldn’t bring herself to watch the fight. Instead, she stayed in her bedroom with Bambi while her friends watched the clash in her living room.
Zoe shared a video on social media of Molly-Mae in her bedroom, appearing nervous as her friends bombarded the room to deliver the good news. However, Molly-Mae eventually broke down in tears of joy after learning about Tommy’s victory.
Tommy, on the other hand, had Molly-Mae and Bambi on his mind throughout the fight. He even dedicated his win to them, saying, “I want to dedicate this fight to my new baby girl Bambi at home and my Mrs. I love you, and I can’t wait to see you. This fight was for you. This belt is for you Bambi I love you.”
The boxer also had his daughter’s name stitched into his shorts and robe, and Molly-Mae’s fake tan brand logo was printed on his team’s jackets and merchandise.
Tommy was emotional after his win, saying, “For the past two and a half years, this is all that consumed my life. Broken rib, denied access, and everyone thought I was running scared. Tonight I made my own legacy. I am Tommy Fury.”
He also thanked Saudi Arabia for hosting the fight and dedicated the win to his family. “This to me is a world title fight. This was my dream, and this was my destiny. This was my fate. We did it,” he said.
Tommy is sure to be looking forward to returning home to Molly-Mae and Bambi, who they welcomed just a month prior to the fight. Molly-Mae’s tribute to Tommy shows just how proud she is of him and the immense support she has for him, even from afar.
