On Monday, Love Island’s Abi Moores, Scott Ven-der-sluis, Mitchel Taylor, and Ella Barnes returned to the UK from Mallorca, their spirits still high despite narrowly missing out on a spot in the final. Abi, the air hostess, and Scott, the footballer, were voted off the island by their fellow contestants just hours after calling time on their romance.
Abi looked stunning in a khaki green catsuit paired with white trainers and stylish sunglasses. Scott kept it casual with a white t-shirt, black gilet, and matching shorts. They celebrated their journey from the Love Island villa to London with a series of selfies posted on Instagram.
The couple was joined at the airport by Mitchel and Ella, who walked hand-in-hand and looked in love. Ella donned a stylish chocolate brown cut-out midi dress, sliders, and a fedora, while Mitchel opted for a low-key all-black ensemble, including a t-shirt, shorts, and a Prada bucket hat.
After weeks in the villa, away from their loved ones, the four islanders were warmly greeted upon their return. However, for Mitchel and Ella, the moment of their departure came during Sunday’s episode, just ahead of the series final on Monday.
In a twist, the five remaining couples were asked to vote for the pair they considered least compatible during their final dates outside the villa. Ella B and Mitchel received four votes, while Whitney and Lochan got one, leading to a head-to-head between the two couples in the public vote.
Ultimately, Whitney and Lochan were saved by the public, leaving Ella B and Mitchel to say their goodbyes. The rest of the group hugged them, though it was an expected outcome for the departing couple.
As the Love Island final approaches, the remaining four couples are preparing to pour their hearts out in romantic declarations of love. The villa will host a summer ball, and one couple will be crowned joint winners, taking home a £50,000 prize fund.
The journey for Abi, Scott, Mitchel, and Ella may have ended on Love Island, but they leave with unforgettable experiences and newfound fame. They return to the UK, excited to explore what their futures hold beyond the island’s shores.
