Love Island Georgia Steel got engaged on dating show after romance with ITV star

“Love Island” star Georgia Steel once found herself in a whirlwind engagement with another ITV star, Callum Izzard, known for “Ibiza Weekender.” Their romance blossomed during their time on “Ex on the Beach” in 2019. The chemistry between them was undeniable, leading Callum to propose to Georgia.

However, the relationship eventually fell apart after Callum moved into Georgia’s home, and the couple split up after a few months. While Georgia remained mostly silent about the breakup, Callum offered some insight into their relationship’s end.

In an interview, Callum reflected, “What a funny time of my life that was, all a joke really, only reality stars know what it’s like when you go away and you’re locked away for six weeks and you have no phone and the only issue is well you have no issues.” He continued, discussing the post-breakup dynamics, “We haven’t really spoken since the break up maybe we met one time and it was a bit hostile but it’s nothing we can’t hash out over a nice double glass of AMÀRE.”

Callum also shared his initial apprehension about being on the same show as Georgia, saying, “And I thought to myself ‘for f*** sake, I’m going to hate this girl’. But it was polar opposite we got on like a house on fire and then we got engaged and fast forward a year and a half and we lived together and Covid hit and now I can’t stand her anymore.” He acknowledged the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on relationships, “I think everyone knows Covid was notorious for making or breaking relationships and that’s the way it went.”

Currently, Georgia is exploring a new romantic possibility with Toby Aromolaran on “Love Island: All Stars.” As the series progresses, it remains to be seen how this new relationship will develop and whether it will encounter any challenges.
