Josh Ritchie, a 29-year-old from the first season of “Love Island,” has been getting close to 25-year-old Sophie Piper from season six, while also engaging with 27-year-old Joanna Chimonides from season five. Fans were taken aback by Josh’s shifting affections, seemingly oblivious to the cameras capturing his every move.
This controversy comes shortly after Georgia Steel was exposed during a ‘Movie Night’ for misleading Callum Jones and Toby Aromolaran, leading viewers to call for a similar revelation of Josh’s actions towards both Sophie and Joanna.
In a recent episode, Sophie expressed her disinterest in others, to which Josh agreed, adding that he needed to “get back in [Sophie’s] good books.” Sophie then suggested Josh clarify his feelings to Joanna. During their conversation, Sophie asked Josh if he was sorry, to which he inquired why she found it difficult to stay mad at him. Sophie admitted, “Every time I look at you, I just want to laugh,” indicating her softened stance towards him. Despite the apparent connection between Josh and Sophie, viewers were left astonished.
