Jeremy Clarkson’s stride may hold an extra bounce these days, and with good reason: he’s been named the UK’s sexiest man for the second consecutive year.
The 64-year-old presenter’s claim to fame as the nation’s most attractive bloke has been solidified yet again, as the results of the annual poll were unveiled today (16 May).
Outshining heartthrobs like Cillian Murphy, Idris Elba, and Tom Holland, Clarkson clinched the top spot with an impressive nine out of 10 points.
Perhaps it’s his tender moments on Clarkson’s Farm or his witty banter on The Grand Tour that seals the deal, but whatever the secret sauce may be, it seems Clarkson has quite the hold on the female audience.
The car enthusiast edged out Spider-Man star Tom Holland, 37, who secured a respectable second place with eight points in the poll.
Third place went to the Prince of Wales, 41, marking a remarkable leap from last year’s standings.
England manager Gareth Southgate, 53, secured fourth place, followed by Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy, 47, Luther icon Idris Elba, and This Morning host Dermot O’Leary.
Jungle king Sam Thompson, 31, who charmed audiences on last year’s I’m A Celeb, landed in eighth place, while “Hardest Geezer” Russ Cook, the first person to run the entire length of Africa, claimed ninth.
Alongside some intriguing additions to the Top 10 this year, there were notable absences from the 2024 favourites list.
For instance, Ryan Reynolds, 47, dropped from fourth place to 26th, while Mike Tindall, 45, lost his top-three spot, sliding to 29th. Piers Morgan, 59, also saw a decline from 17th to 40th.
Prince Harry found himself in the bottom ten, landing in the undesirable 47th place compared to his brother’s stellar ranking.
In summary, it’s certainly Jeremy Clarkson’s day to shine.
