Tim Smith emerged as a standout personality in this year’s edition of Married At First Sight, known for his straightforward demeanour, emotional openness, and his dynamic with his on-screen partner, Lucinda Light.
As a crowd-pleaser, Tim recently delivered a revealing interview, sharing surprising insights about fellow participants Ridge Barredo and Jade Pywell, and openly criticising the notorious 2023 contestant, Harrison Boon.
In his appearance on the podcast So Dramatic!, Tim didn’t mince words, particularly regarding Ridge and Jade’s relationship, which has seemingly been less than idyllic post-show.
Following speculations of Ridge’s infidelity, Tim shared with So Dramatic! about an episode involving Ridge’s bold behaviour after the show but prior to the reunion episode.
In a further discussion on the podcast, Tim recounted an incident where Ridge made advances towards one of his friends at a nightclub.
“A friend of mine called and said that she just ran into Ridge at a nightclub. He was trying to hit on her friend,” Tim recounted. “This was after filming, before the Reunion.”
He added that Ridge had insulted him during this period, and his friend promptly contacted him to discuss the encounter. “But c’mon, there’s tonnes of reports out there,” Tim remarked about the allegations concerning Ridge’s loyalty.
When queried about comparing Ridge with other contestants named Jack, Jayden, or those starting with a ‘J’, Tim expressed his relief at not having to deal with them anymore. He then sharply criticised Harrison Boon, equating him to a lesser version of a public figure known for controversy.
“Just because you’re a wannabe, five minutes of fame… go away, go get a job, you are useless, you are the useless version of Andrew Tate, you’re just a moron, you’re just a f***ing arsehole,” Tim vehemently stated about Harrison.
Tim also dismissed the possibility that the show’s editing was to blame for Harrison’s portrayal. “You are who you,” he declared. “If you’re a misogynistic f*ing prick, you are. If you are a lying sack of st, you are. They can’t make you somebody that you’re not.”
