Love Island has scored a new star for its upcoming series: footballer Ronnie Vint, who happens to be a close friend of show icon Olivia Attwood.
The 27-year-old footballer, who served as best man at Olivia’s wedding to Bradley Dack last summer, is the latest addition to the cast. Known as a ladies’ man within Olivia’s celebrity circle, TV insiders reveal he’s now ready to settle down after years of playing the field, both on and off the pitch.
A source shared with MailOnline: “Ronnie is the latest signing for Love Island this year and he can’t wait to see who else will be joining him. As a ladies’ man, he has dated a string of reality stars, and now he’s excited to finally become a contestant himself after hearing so much about it from Olivia. Of course, Olivia and Bradley are close friends with Ronnie and will be supporting him on the show all the way.”
Ronnie plays for non-league team Lewes and is friends with former Love Island contestant Tyrique Hyde. Olivia herself found fame as a singleton on the show in 2017 but later rekindled her romance with Bradley, whom she knew before the series. They tied the knot in London last year, with guests including Love Island stars Georgia Harrison and Amber Davies, alongside Ronnie, who was Bradley’s best man.
Ronnie’s addition to the show follows the announcement of Patsy Field, 30, joining the lineup as the latest contestant with a disability. Patsy, an influencer, has Erb’s palsy due to a crucial error made during her birth at Lewisham hospital. Despite her right arm being shorter and less functional than her left, Patsy has learned to embrace her condition throughout her life.
MailOnline also reported that model Grace Jackson, 25, is set to enter the TV villa in Mallorca this summer. The show, hosted by Maya Jama, returns to ITV2 on June 3, featuring more eager singletons looking for love.
Additionally, Liverpool makeup artist Samantha Kenny and Welsh rugby player Ciaran Davies have also been reported to have signed up for the dating show.
