Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has announced her plans to leave the UK and pursue her acting dreams in the United States.
The reality TV personality shared the news with her fans on Instagram Stories, where she expressed her excitement for the upcoming project.
“I’ve got a really exciting announcement to make, within the next few weeks, I will be going abroad. It’s a very exciting project and I’ll be working with an amazing charity that I am so passionate about. And secondly… I can’t even say because I am super excited,” Ekin-Su said in the now-expired Stories video.
“But I will be taking it global this summer, and I’m going to America to pursue my acting dreams and my acting goals.”
Ekin-Su and her partner Davide Sanclimenti recently appeared on Love Island’s spin-off show Aftersun, where they addressed rumours of engagement.
The couple confirmed that Davide had proposed, but quickly clarified that they were just joking.
“Guys I’m joking, you know my humour,” Ekin-Su said. “It’s a promise ring. If he were to propose, it wouldn’t be like that.”
Davide added, “When I propose, people will know. They won’t think: ‘Oh, it’s a rumour’. You will understand.”
Ekin-Su first rose to fame as a contestant on the popular reality TV show Love Island. She recently appeared on another reality TV show, Dancing on Ice, where she competed alongside professional skater Lukasz Różycki.
The Turkish-born star has previously spoken about her ambition to pursue an acting career. In an interview with The Sun, Ekin-Su said, “I’ve always wanted to get into acting, it’s been a dream of mine since I was little. I want to explore that avenue.”
It seems that Ekin-Su is now ready to take the next step in her career and pursue her dreams in the US.
