Gogglebox star George Gilbey has tragically passed away at the age of 40.

The reality TV personality, known for his appearances on Channel 4’s Gogglebox and Celebrity Big Brother, is reported to have died suddenly in a workplace accident earlier today. Essex Police released a statement confirming the incident, stating that a man working at height had fallen and sustained a fatal injury at Campfield Road in Shoebury around 10 am this morning. Despite the efforts of emergency services, including the air ambulance, the man, identified as George Gilbey, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
