JJ Slater has finally spoken out about his five-month relationship with Katie Price, hinting that marriage could be in their future. The 31-year-old star from “Married At First Sight UK” revealed that his connection with the 45-year-old glamour model and mother of five began when she reached out to him after learning about his diabetes diagnosis.
Describing their initial meeting over coffee, JJ shared : “We met for coffee and met as friends, and we got on really well as friends and it developed from there, which was really nice. There was no pressure, we both just really fancied and liked each other.” He expressed appreciation for Katie’s kindness upon hearing about his health condition, which led to the blossoming of their relationship.
Having harboured a long-standing attraction to Katie, JJ confessed to previously attempting to capture her attention by sliding into her DMs before finding fame on the E4 reality show last year. He admitted, “I’ve always thought she was fit.”
Katie, who has been married three times before, could potentially be headed for a fourth marriage as JJ revealed his wish that he could have wed her on “Married At First Sight.” He remarked, “It would have been ideal on Married At First Sight if I was at the altar and I turned around and it was Kate walking down. It would have saved a lot of time.”
Despite the significant 14-year age gap between them, JJ emphasised that it doesn’t affect their relationship, stating, “age is just a number.” He declared that they are both on the same page and wavelength, and he sees a future with her. JJ also disclosed that they have already professed their love for each other and that he doesn’t want to waste any time.
