Love Island alums Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas are dropping hints that they may have rekindled their romance.
The duo, who rose to fame after coupling up on the ITV2 reality dating show in 2023, faced a split towards the end of last year. However, they seemingly reunited shortly after, only to find themselves in “crisis talks” in February, leading to another breakup. Now, both Tyrique and Ella appear to suggest that they’ve patched things up.
On Saturday, they both shared Snapchat stories simultaneously, showcasing their shopping trips at Selfridges in London. Tyrique’s post carried the caption “Forgive,” while Ella confirmed her presence in the store by sharing an image of a Louis Vuitton shopping bag. In another snap, Ella was spotted trying on a pair of designer trainers, though she didn’t add any caption to that post.
In February, MailOnline exclusively reported that Ella and Tyrique had called it quits for good after six months together, following their meeting on Love Island’s last summer season. However, rumours of a reconciliation emerged after Ella traveled to LA last month, where Tyrique later joined her. Their Instagram posts from the Rolling Loud festival in California hinted at a possible reunion, with Tyrique captioning one photo “Godspeed,” while Ella shared a snap of herself wearing a skirt with the same word emblazoned across the back.
The source shared, “Ella and Tyrique have decided it’s time to go their separate ways. They have such love for each other, but they often struggle to get along and as viewers saw in the villa, they’re always arguing.”
Saturday’s social media posts marked the first time the pair had appeared on each other’s feeds since the breakup. Previously, both had removed recent photos of each other from their Instagram profiles and cleared Snapchat content. They had also unfollowed each other, suggesting a final split.
Ella and Tyrique gained fame after finishing third in the latest summer series of Love Island, trailing behind runners-up Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki and champions Jess Harding and Sammy Root.
