Despite the tumultuous journey they faced on the show, they have hinted at their shared desire to expand their family in the future.
As MAFS fans in the UK brace for the final dramatic showdown of season 11, set to grace screens tonight, most cast members have taken to social media to share post-filming updates, including Jade and Ridge.
Already a mother to her cherished daughter Vee, Jade has disclosed the stipulation Ridge must adhere to before they embark on parenthood together. Despite Ridge, 27, expressing his eagerness to start a family with Jade, 26, who is a devoted mother to eight-year-old Victoria (Vee), Jade insists on a “proper” engagement before taking the next step.
In an interview with New Idea magazine, Jade articulated her sentiments: “I’d also like to do a little bit of travel together and I’ll definitely be waiting for another ring before we have any kiddies. The show doesn’t count. I’d like a proper engagement, instead of me just being handed to him!”
Ridge, in response, asserted his commitment, stating he doesn’t do things “half-a***ed” and assured Jade of his wholehearted dedication. “When I’m in, I’m really in,” he affirmed.
Expressing relief at the harmonious relationship between Ridge and Vee, Jade acknowledged the challenges of integrating a new partner into her family dynamic. “I feel like it’s such a huge ask for someone who doesn’t have kids to take on a partner and another child, so I did really appreciate that, it’s always a really tough situation,” she reflected.
