MAFS Australia’s Jono has made startling claims about his former co-star Sara, alleging that she engaged in infidelity during filming and criticising her behaviour on the show.
During his first interview with Ellie since confirming their relationship at the reunion, Jono disclosed several revelations, including accusations against Sara. He asserted that bride Eden possesses evidence indicating Sara slept with her ex-boyfriend amidst filming, despite Sara’s denial and efforts to salvage her marriage to on-screen husband Tim.
Speaking on the Project 23 Podcast with Luke Erwin, Jono asserted, “Sara fully cheated on Tim, but she went out at the weekend and banged her ex.” He further mentioned that Eden has proof of Sara’s infidelity but prefers not to involve herself in conflict.
Jono didn’t hold back in his assessment of Sara’s character, describing her as “vicious” and suggesting that the show’s editing portrayed her more favorably than her real-life behavior warranted. He recounted instances like a dinner party where Sara verbally attacked fellow bride Cassandra, calling her a derogatory term.
Expressing sympathy for Sara, Jono remarked, “She’s not ever going to be happy in a relationship until she sorts some fundamental issues out, she’s got some big issues.” He criticised Sara’s self-centeredness and tendency to resort to yelling when confronted with something she disliked.
Jono also divulged details about Tim’s sentiments towards Sara post-final vows, revealing that Tim regretted not ending the relationship sooner. According to Jono, Tim described Sara as “the worst person I’ve ever met” and saved her contact in his phone as ‘El Diablo’ – the devil.
Following the reunion, Tim and Sara parted ways, with Tim finding new love with architect Barbie. Meanwhile, Sara remains single but has been spending time with co-star Lauren, who was married to Jono during the series.
