ITV Suspends All Programming Amidst Worries For The Queen

ITV has suspended all programming amidst worries for the Queen’s health.

BBC One has also cleared its programming schedule after an announcement that the Queen’s health has deteriorated.

Doctors are concerned for the 96-year-olds health and she remains under supervision.

During the regularly scheduled Bargain Hunt, BBC news interupted the show by saying:

“Welcome to viewers on BBC One. We have had news from Buckingham Palace that the Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral.”

The newsreader then continued and detailed concern for her Majesty’s health, which remained on screen instead of returning to the scheduled programming.

BBC News announced that her family have been told of the current situation and are on their way to Balmoral.

Buckingham Palace have also released a statement, noting that she is being kept comfortable at her home in Balmoral and will not be taken to hospital. The statement read:

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.

“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
