Harry Praised for Loving Gesture to Wife Meghan

Prince Harry has been praised online for a loving and romantic gesture he made towards his wife, the Duchess of Sussex.

The couple and the Prince and Princess of Wales were seen together for the first time in two years to do a walk-about outside Windsor Castle and to view the flowers, gifts and notes of admiration and condolence for the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The four were dressed in black and were patient in speaking to many members of the public, some that had been waiting hours to catch a glimpse of the royals.

When the couple were done greeting well-wishers, Prince Harry opened the door for his beloved wife and closed it for her – causing many to swoon at the kind gesture of love in a time of grief.

Many fans took to Twitter to share their praise for the royal:

‘Prince Harry always opens the door for his wife. So happy they have each other in this dark time.’

‘Say what you will about Harry and Meghan but he puts his arm around her back and opens her car door for her. He loves her. That gets a swoon from me.’

‘#PrinceHarry opens the door for a lady. A real gentleman!’

‘Prince Harry goes around and opens the door for his wife, goes round and shakes hands with the crowd, before getting into the car. He is his mother’s son indeed.’

‘Just watching a bit of the news and watching Harry and William walking through the crowds,’

‘One thing I noticed was Harry holding the car door open so Meghan could get in before getting in himself. Doesn’t matter if you’re a prince or common man, manners are always present.’

Both of the Prince’s have shared a statement to pay tribute to their late grandmother. Prince Williams said:

“On Thursday, the world lost an extraordinary leader, whose commitment to the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth was absolute. So much will be said in the days ahead about the meaning of her historic reign.

“I, however, have lost a grandmother. And while I will grieve her loss, I also feel incredibly grateful. I have had the benefit of The Queen’s wisdom and reassurance into my fifth decade. My wife has had 20 years of her guidance and support. My three children have got to spend holidays with her and create memories that will last their whole lives.

“She was by my side at my happiest moments. And she was by my side during the saddest days of my life. I knew this day would come, but it will be some time before the reality of life without Grannie will truly feel real.”
