Princess of Wales Emotional Talking about Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II sadly passed on 8 September at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

In the days after her sad passing, the royal family have been taking part in ceremonies and walkabouts to speak with members of the public who are there in support and mutual mourning for her late Majesty.

The newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales, along with Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle greeted the public outside Windsor Castle. While taking in the sea of floral arrangements, gifts and tokens of respect and love left by thousands of civilians, the royals also spoke to the many waiting to catch a glimpse show their respect.

One member of public was a 28-year-old woman who said that Kate appeared “teary” when describing what her four-year-old song Prince Louis said in reaction to the sad news.

The new Princess of Wales said that her son announced:

“At least Grannie is with Great-Grandpa now,”

Immediately after the Queen passed, the then Prince Charles ascended to the throne, becoming Prince Charles III and his wife Camilla became his Queen Consort.

The doctors were concerned for the Queen’s health on Thursday and many of the royals made their way to Balmoral Castle in Scotland to see her Majesty in her final moments. Buckingham Palace announced that she had passed Thursday evening.
